New Orleans-style parade brass for Charleston wedding exits, arrivals, and street procession moments.
About
Bring the unmistakable lift of a New Orleans-style second line to your Charleston wedding or private event. The Wedding Parade / 2nd Line Band is built for short, high-impact procession moments: ceremony exits, venue-to-venue walks, reception arrivals, after-party sendoffs, and guest transitions through downtown streets or private event spaces.
The band typically performs as a mobile 4-piece brass and percussion group, giving couples a joyful, photo-ready way to move guests while keeping the energy organized and celebratory. It is especially useful when the moment needs to feel spontaneous and alive, but still needs professional timing, volume, and event awareness.
Best uses: wedding party entrances, second line exits, cocktail hour arrivals, downtown Charleston walks, guest escorts, and surprise reception moments.

For most standard band bookings, the core sound setup is included or planned with the band package. Larger rooms, complex outdoor layouts, ceremonies in separate locations, and extra production needs may require additional audio support.
Yes. Those add-ons are a major part of Avon Society. We can shape a full event flow with ceremony strings, jazz for cocktails or dinner, live sax or electric violin moments, and DJ Darby for the late-night handoff.
Often, yes. Some requests are simple additions and others require arrangement time, rehearsal, or a different ensemble format. The earlier we know the song and the moment, the easier it is to recommend the best approach.
